Add Kelly Cutrone's name to the list of Kimye nonbelievers. The veteran fashion publicist and America's Next Top Model judge isn't impressed by the celebrity couple, despite the pair landing the prestigious cover of Vogue earlier this year.
"I think they have no influence in the fashion world whatsoever,” she told the NY Daily News. “I mean, most people who watch the Kardashians’ (reality show) can’t afford Givenchy. I don’t mean to be mean... Are (counterfeiters) on Canal St. benefiting from it? Probably, but that’s not the fashion world.”
She went on to say: “I don’t think there’s one person who really works in the fashion industry who gives a flying fuck about Kanye West."
Cutrone may have missed Kanye's second A.P.C. installment and the news earlier this year that he joined adidas' design roster, along with the pretty wide-held belief that most things high-profile celebs like Ye and Rihanna co-sign will enjoy a surge in popularity. The only positive remarks Cutrone had were in regards to America's Next Top Model, which returns to the CW on Sept. 18.
