Earlier this summer, Cole Haan shook up the dress shoe game when it dropped a highly engineered wingtip shoe called the ZeroGrand. Fusing time-honored styling with modern technology, the innovative design proved to us that classy kicks didn’t have to result in unbearable comfort.
And now, the brand is back with more.
In collaboration with online retailer Mr Porter, Cole Haan presents an exclusive six-style range that features the original ZeroGrand wingtip as well as two new silhouettes—the ZeroGrand chukka and ZeroGrand tassel loafer—made exclusively for the webstore.
“Cole Haan is an exciting new addition to MR PORTER, and we’ve worked with them to produce some exclusive styles on the new ZeroGrand sole unit,” says Sam Lobban, senior buyer at MR PORTER. “Our customer is always looking for something new, and this will be our first offering of a classic shoe x sneaker hybrid.”
Coming in understated colorways—from ivy and mushroom, to India ink and ironstone—the line expands on the inaugural design with reverse full-grain uppers and a luxurious suede from British tannery Charles F. Stead. And you can be sure that increased flexibility and comfort is still present through the use of Cole Haan’s new "operating system," the Grand.OS.
