Get your trigger finger and GPS ready, because Gilt is dropping the heat this weekend.
Starting Saturday at noon EST, the online luxury boutique will launch a social media-based scavenger hunt called Gilt Rush. And the first item up for grabs is a two-toned Vintage Rolex that will be given to one lucky NYC fan. Throughout the day, Gilt will release various clues on its social media profiles—Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook—hinting at the watch’s location with the hashtag #giltrush.
But don’t worry, if you’re not in the NYC area, because there’s still something in it for you. This weekend, a mobile series of Gilt Rush will also launch, with a batch of prizes hidden in the company’s "mobile only" sales every Saturday.
In order to win the items, including the Rolex, all participants are required to show proof of the downloaded Gilt app.
