Japanese brand and retailer BEAMS' Fall/Winter 2014 lookbook was shot in the streets of Tokyo and pulls from the store's impressive offerings. The lookbook masterfully pulls together an eclectic mix of styles from both BEAMS' in-house line and collaborations, as well as its outside brands, including Patagonia, The North Face, Arc'teryx, Engineered Garments, Nike, adidas, and Needles.
The lookbook, dubbed Walk or Stop, blends streetwear and menswear with a touch of more formal pieces. Models wearing track pants or joggers with colorful sneakers are styled with smart, tailored sweaters, button-up plaid shirts, and outerwear. There is a heavy emphasis on BEAMS' selection of functional pieces inspired by the outdoors, like quilted down jackets, gilets, and a fleece color-blocked jacket. BEAMS' collaborations with outside brands, such as Unusued, Marmot, and Battenwear, also play a prominent role in the lookbook.
