Hood By Air posted the above video to its Instagram account last night to announce "Id," a special event with The Museum of Modern Art's (MoMA), PopRally program. PopRally is a series of events that features collaborations with artists and musicians, performances, receptions, film screenings, and special viewings of exhibits.

HBA's event, which touts itself as "a performance masquerading as a party" and a semi-virtual experience, will include a theater, live stream, and a "humannequin" installation. The night will also feature performances from Boychild, who has walked in the label's Fall/Winter 2013 fashion showMykki Blanco, and surprise guests.

This event will be the first time Hood By Air has premiered live work outside of a fashion show. However, if those runway presentations, which are already pushing the boundaries of a traditional show, are any indication then the party at MoMA promises to be a very unique experience.

Tickets for the event, which is taking place on Oct. 30, are on sale online now.
