Over the past five years, Illesteva has evolved into a highly covetable eyewear brand whose styles have been donned by celebrities like Beyonce, Rihanna, and Cara Delevingne. This month, the New York-based company gained even more momentum after it opened the doors to its first-ever flagship store in SoHo—a fitting location for a label that has consistently fused classic silhouettes with metropolitan styling.

The 500-square-foot space, located at 49 Prince St., houses all the Illesteva essentials ranging from optical frames and sunglasses to leather goods and umbrellas. The minimalist interior is propelled straightforward wood displays that lend the store a clean, contemporary vibe without inducing a sense of intimidation.

In honor of the opening, designers Daniel Silberman, Alina Silberman, and Justin Salguero have introduced a playful iteration of the Frieda clip-on, which features a customized screen-printed wink design inspired by Halloween.

You can check out the limited-edition frames and images of the label’s retail space below. And don't worry if you’re unable to visit the new SoHo digs; you can continue to cop Illesteva merchandise at its online store.
