Victor Cruz is staying active with a global ad campaign with Gap Factory, the name for Gap’s outlet stores, shot by legendary fashion photographer David LaChapelle. The New York Giants wide receiver signed the deal to become the brand’s Global Ambassador before suffering an unfortunate season-ending injury earlier in the year during a game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The print ads are signature LaChapelle—bright, dreamy, and saturated images—and feature supermodels Chrissy Teigen and Chanel Iman alongside Cruz. Amondo Redmond, director of brand strategy with Gap Factory, tells Ad Age that LaChapelle’s work is “brighter than anything we've ever executed.”

For the stylish Cruz, this latest campaign comes after starring in ads for brands like Nike, Pepsi, and Hugo Boss, and represents the athlete’s desire to continue to get more involved with fashion. Cruz is developing his own clothing line, Young Whales, and says despite the fact that it’s “difficult for NFL athletes to break into certain areas of fashion” he feels he’s “done a good job.”
