A little over a year ago, photographer Jaroslav Wieczorkiewicz and Aurum Light Studios created a pretty awesome pin-up calendar of nude models covered in milk. The images were shot and edited to make the milk resemble articles of clothing, only slightly masking the NSFW bits while also creating unique and impressive photos. For the upcoming 2015 calendar, Wieczorkiewicz has taken it to a new level. Taking inspiration from action figures, the photographer turned the models into colorful superheroes, each in a dramatic pose that looks like it was taken directly from the pages of a comic book.

The photo shoot took 5 days and lots of milk colored with various pigments. The entire process has been documented on the Aurum Light blog, including behind-the-scenes footage and diagrams of how the whole thing came together.
