On the heels of its well-received collaboration with adidas, Los Angeles-based brand The Hundreds is releasing two bag options that are perfect for the harsher climates of the winter months. The Jon backpack and the Getaway duffel bag are crafted from tarpaulin, a sturdy textile known for its water resistance and durability.

According to The Hundreds website, these pieces draw inspiration from rebelling and progressive action taken by various groups around the country during these times of civil unrest. The bags represent the “longevity, resilience, and mobility” that is required to hold one’s own under trying conditions.

In addition to the waterproof material, the bags feature rubber undersides that are crafted from the same material used by river rafting boats, and the vibrant yellow colorway is designed to remain visible no matter what the conditions. Both bags feature a heavy-duty metal tooth zipper for added durability.

The Hundreds Winter 2014 Tarpaulin collection is now available that The Hundreds flagship stores, its online shop, and at authorized stockists around the country.
