Incredible news, guys: Alexander Wang has just announced his first foray into furniture.

That’s right, the American designer has teamed up with Italian label Poltrona Frau to assemble a three-piece collection set to launch next month.

“Over the last 10 years, furniture is where my interest has really evolved,” Wang told the Wall Street Journal. “When I started working in fashion, I always had an idea of an environment in my head, but how to actualize it, and what the references meant, that’s new.”

Presented in Wang’s signature all-black aesthetic, the collection features a bar cabinet with jagged brass shelves and luggage-style wheels, along with two brass-footed beanbag designs: one in inky black shearling and the other in black leather. Wang told WSJ he wanted to take banal, everyday items and reinterpret them into something unexpectedly luxe (similar to the concept behind his ongoing Objects series). However, prepare to do some major damage to your wallet if you want to get your hands on these pieces. The bar cabinet will sell for $18,500, while the beanbags will go for $8,800.

UPDATE: The three-piece collection will be available at select Poltrona Frau showrooms worldwide and select Alexander Wang stores from the end of April. See additional images of the furniture below.
