The latest issue of L'Officiel Hommes Italia delivers an exclusive editorial by adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams.
Photographed and directed by renowned Italian artists Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, the shoot gives readers a sneak peek at Pharrell’s latest installment of the Polka Dot Collection as well as his upcoming Supercolor project that celebrates the 45th anniversary of the adidas Superstar sneaker.
Presented in a dreamlike frame, the editorial is sharp, energetic, and very much in line with Pharrell’s vibrant and considerably playful aesthetic.
“I did know Pharrell's music and his several activities and passions, but I did not understand him deeply until when we met during the shooting,” Maurizio Cattelan said. “What struck me the most was that he was really kind and humble. Now it's clearer to me his secret: Make it simple but significant.”
