The University of Oregon Ducks, the team with the most talked about uniforms in college football history, will wear a relatively toned-down kit in next week's title match against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Nike revealed that the Ducks will take the field in a mostly white Mach Speed uniform with tonal silver accents, like the "Fighting Ducks" logo on the sleeves, wings on the shoulders and helmet, as well as a diamond Nike Swoosh. Nike has also created a custom Pro Combat Hypercool baselayer that features a diamond pattern with graphic angles that pay homage to Oregon's 27 bowl appearances.
The partnership between Nike and UO has been extremely fruitful, giving birth to notable on-field apparel, including this "Storm Trooper" kit and digital camouflage helmets.
Tune into the first College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 12.
