Leave it to Tom Ford to try to transform the Apple Watch into a classic menswear staple. It appears the designer has removed the band and attached the device to a chain in an effort to create an updated pocket watch. Ford first debuted the custom timepiece during his Spring/Summer 2016 presentation in London, but a couple social media posts gave us a closer look.
Unfortunately, the customizations will ultimately affect the functions of the watch. According to Mashable, without the band the heart monitor won't work and keeping the device in your pocket will automatically lock it.
