Comme des Garçons Homme designer Junya Watanabe flexes his unmatched ability to create patchwork designs in the brand's new Spring/Summer 2016 collection. 

Almost every piece utilizes the patchwork-style that Watanabe has become famous for, while others play on the concept with large, oversized patches inserted into otherwise standard shirting. Neon blocks occupy the center of plain white and striped button-up shirts, outerwear seems to be made completely out of patches or different strips of fabric, and outlines remain on an assortment of items, like parkas, denim-style jackets and blazers. Watanabe really takes patchwork to the next level by imbuing shirts with unique patterns created by carefully placed patchwork sections. The collection's bright colors and a series of cropped trousers and cuffed denim already has us looking forward to next spring.
