The Hill-Side has us wishing it was next summer with their Spring/Summer 2016 collection; chock full of jackets, shirts, shoes, and other accessories that bring some of the best of Japan into the hands of menswear nerds stateside.

Indigo is set to play a major part of the upcoming collection. Various shades of blue cover a series of shirting, coaches jackets, and sneakers—all with fabrics originating in Japan. One of the collection's pieces, the El Segundo Shirt, received treatment in the Shibori style. It's a style that utilizes a traditional Japanese technique, wrapping the affected fabric around other objects to create various patterns during the dyeing process.

But it's not just traditional Japanese techniques that helped to inspire the collection. Military history played a major role, especially when it comes to the "SN8" footwear. Based on a US Navy bunk shoe from the 1970s, the silhouette combines the comfort of a slipper, with durable military-style details. Like most of the other pieces in the collection, these shoes are also made in Japan.

But that's not all the collection has to offer. A collection of key accessories, including: pins, bandanas, headwear, and socks round out what's simultaneously a diverse-yet-cohesive collection.

Check out the lookbook below, and look for the collection to hit stores in the coming months.
