Welp, here we go again. In new images from Kim Kardashian's Hype Energy campaign, the star becomes the latest in the Kardashian-Jenner clan to sport cornrows.

You may recall Kylie Jenner's recent cornrow selfie from earlier this month—a move that resulted in much backlash from social media and Hollywood alike. The event triggered some major questions about racial issues, especially in regards to cultural appropriation

And Kylie's not the only one. Kendall Jenner was also roasted on Twitter for wearing cornrows—something that was only made worse when Marie Claire dubbed the "bold braids" a daring new style move.

The Kardashians and Jenners are obviously not African American, but their wearing of cornrows has caused the public at large to wonder if the hairstyle is appropriation, or just...well, a braided hairstyle.
