Yesterday, Marc Jacobs made headlines for something that was not by his design. He accidentally posted a nude selfie of himself on Instagram with the caption, "It's yours to try!" Now, instead of claiming he was hacked or that it wasn't him like most people have, the designer owned up to the mistake and essentially told everyone to move on in an incredible response.
"Yeah. I accidentally posted a pic of my bare ass and took it down,” he wrote, according to Dazed. "I was flirting with someone I met on Instagram. Meant to send it by DM. Oops, my mistake. I apologise to anyone it offended. I'm a gay man. I flirt and chat with guys online sometimes. BIG DEAL!"
Jacobs was not the first to embarrass himself on social media, and he certainly won't be the last.
