Comme des Garçons' concept store Pocket is meant to make you feel like you're in a convenience store—where you can spontaneously pull anything off the shelves without worrying about it destroying your checking account. There are currently over 30 of the stores dotting the globe, most of which are inside pre-existing Dover Street Market and Comme des Garçons shops. Now, CdG is bringing the U.S.'s first stand-alone Pocket location to New York City.
The Pocket stores carry many of the lower-priced items, like wallets and perfumes, from Comme des Garçons and its Play imprint. The easy-to-shop store "celebrates the ease, efficiency, and affordability of a convenience store," president of Comme des Garçons International Adrian Joffe told WWD.
The new Pocket store opens at 112 10th Ave., New York City today.
