There have many tributes paid to Aaliyah since her untimely death in 2001. We’ve seen everything from jerseys to T-shirts to bomber jackets that celebrated the life and career of the Princess of R&B. But now we’ll soon have the first-ever tribute fragrance presented by perfume company Xyrena.

“From day one, we worked with Aaliyah’s estate to ensure that every aspect of this release met their approval,” Xyrena CEO Killian Wells told MTV. "They appreciated that we wanted to create a fragrance that was really about Aaliyah, not just a generic scent with her name on the bottle.”

Appropriately titled Aaliyah by Xyrena, the unisex fragrance was a collaborative effort between the company and Aaliyah’s brother Rashad Haughton, who provided various colognes that the late artist would frequently wear as sources of inspiration.

Though the fragrance will not be shipped until mid-October, several celebrities will be sent a bottle prior to its release, including Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and the most famous Aaliyah die-hard—Drake.

“Drake will also be receiving a bottle since he’s one of Aaliyah’s biggest fans,” Wells told MTV. “Maybe Aaliyah by Xyrena will be his new go-to fragrance.”
