Yesterday, we got a preview of the CR Men's Book spread styled by Kanye West with clothes from his Yeezy Season 1. The teaser starred Fetty Wap, but we were promised three more artists hand-selected by 'Ye, who we now know are Vic Mensa, Tink, and recent G.O.O.D. music signee Holt

West selected artists who "embody the fearless spirit of his debut," according to CR Men's Book. Through the publication's shoot, we see a wider variety of pieces from the collection. Mensa rocks a shearling-lined black coat, Holt wears a quilted bomber and hoodie, and Tink mixes together the collection's spandex, sweater, and grail coat with the oversized fur hood.

Outside of Fetty Wap each rapper was raised in Chicago, and the three Illinois natives reflect on that in the story. "You grow up quick coming out of Chicago,” Tink tells CR Men's Book. “You go to school and you see friends and over the summer they pass—just reckless violence. You become numb to it and it gives you a tough skin." Mensa concurs that Chicago gives artist a different perspective. "It’s not Hollywood," he said. "You don’t grow up seeing movie stars hopping out of limos. We draw from different influences. It’s cold and gray outside right now, which doesn’t make me want to write a song about palm trees and beautiful women. I feel more compelled to talk about what these bricks made me feel."

The debut issue of CR Men's Book, which also includes features with Jaden Smith and Kate Upton, hits shelves on Sept. 3. You can pre-order the issue here
