Another person was killed after a dispute over a pair of shoes turned deadly. A woman in Florida was arrested this week after she beat another woman in a fight over borrowed shoes

According to reports from Local 10, Cortez Fields went to Nicole Hewitt's home on Saturday night in hopes of getting back a pair of her shoes. Hewitt became upset and asked Fields to leave, but she retaliated by punching her in the face and pushing her down the stairs.

Fields continued her attack as Hewitt struggled to get up. She eventually left her home, but the damage had already been done. When the police finally arrived, Hewitt denied medical treatment. She later died of her injuries.

Fields will now be charged with battery, burglary, unlawful use of a name, tampering with evidence and grand theft.
