A hairstylist in Spain, who is now being dubbed as the "real-life Edward Scissorhands," is cutting people's hair in the most terrifying, yet totally badass way.

Alberto Olmedo says he takes a "medieval" approach to cutting hair but, what he really means is that he gets very close to people's faces with sharp objects and fire. Olmedo, who might be an actual time traveler, uses a technique that includes waving around two huge samurai swords to chop his clients' locks. He also uses a blow torch set at 2,372 degrees to light the ends on fire, which would create the most unbearable smell in that salon.

He calls his methods the "mathematical way" of cutting hair, but it is hard to believe there's any method to his frantic sword swiping other than not accidently cutting off someone's ear.

Olmedo also says, "sometimes you have to use a bit of your imagination to get positive results," which just might be the least comforting thing a hairstylist could say.

Check out his crazy haircutting in the video above.
