Today officially marks the beginning of the entry period for the VFILES Fall/Winter 2016 runway show. Like previous seasons, VFILES will give a few lucky designers the opportunity to present their collections at New York Fashion Week. Since 2013, the competition has helped launch brands like ASSK, Gypsy Sport, and Melitta Baumeister.
For its 6th season, the digital fashion community is changing it up by adding another element to their fully crowdsourced show by highlighting wearable tech. The new category will be introduced along with an interactive Studios XO collaboration collection called VFILES_XO.
VFILES is accepting submissions for designers, a wearable technology designer, stylist, makeup artist, hair stylist, photographer and a male and female model to feature in the upcoming show.
