Barneys New York tapped legendary photographer Bruce Weber to shoot the high-end retailer’s latest campaign, a love letter to New York fittingly titled “Our Town.” With the opening of Barneys' new Chelsea flagship store set for later this month, the iconic shop wanted to pay tribute to their history with the Big Apple.

The retailer looked to Weber to help unlock the nostalgia of old New York. The acclaimed photographer, who has previously worked with the likes of Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Abercrombie & Fitch, tapped into his early memories of falling in love with the city while attending NYU as a young film student. “Life in the city was so freewheeling then,” Weber said in a press release.

The editorial features bold Manhattan personalities—including Lady Gaga and Yoko Ono—and spans from Katz’s Delicatessen in the Lower East Side all the way uptown to The Carlyle Hotel. Additionally, the campaign features the New York Fire Department’s first female battalion chief Rocky Jones, as well as some of the Angulo brothers from the revered documentary The Wolfpack.
