Gilt Is Really Poking the BeyHive With a Rachel Roy Sale

Unfortuante timing, to say the least.

Pure coincidence or are the folks over at Gilt Groupe cashing in on the Rachel Roy controversy? The womenswear designer came under fire this weekend after she became the likeliest suspect to be the mistress Beyoncé sings about on new Lemonade track "Sorry." The sale from Gilt is almost certainly just poor timing, but unfortunate planning is no defense from the BeyHive.

The speculation about Roy quickly took the Internet by storm—especially after she posted an Instagram alluding to Bey's "Becky with the good hair" lyric—and now there just so happens to be a sale on RACHEL by Rachel Roy clothing on Gilt right now. Roy's sister label appeared on the sale site this morning and now Gilt can only hope that it doesn't get swarmed by the BeyHive

The accusations against Roy were backed by rumors that she had hooked up with Jay Z back in 2014, which was also the alleged cause of that infamous Solange elevator incident.

After Roy's initial Instagram, she took to Twitter to speak out against the accusations and say she respects love and marriages.
