H&M has confirmed Kenzo for its 2016 designer collaboration, a move that should certainly please fans of both brands. The French luxury brand, started by Kenzo Takada way back in 1970, landed Opening Ceremony co-founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon as creative directors in 2011 and has unveiled successful collabs with Disney and Vans in years since.

"With this collaboration with H&M we want to think big, push the boundaries and bring the new energy of KENZO to everyone around the world," Lim and Leon said in a press release Wednesday.

Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M, echoed that sentiment, expressing sheer stokedness about the forthcoming collab. "We can't wait to share with everyone the world of KENZO x H&M, with all of its creativity, fun and love of fashion," she said.

The Kenzo x H&M collection, set to drop Nov. 3, will consist of men's and women's clothing and accessories. Though November certainly feels like it's eons from now, Voguehinted Wednesday that H&M just might tease pieces from the collection at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards in June.

"What Kenzo Takada began was so revolutionary; it's what attracted us to the brand to begin with," Leon said. "The idea is to celebrate where he began and where we've taken it—not only the archive of what he did but what we've worked on. We're taking a look at how the two can merge in a true conversation."

That conversation kicks off in November.
