Kim Kardashian and family have settled into a massive $30 million New York City penthouse, where they will be staying for the next couple months courtesy of Airbnb. The rental company seems to have put the Wests up in exchange for exposure on Kardashian's social media accounts. The arrangement was reportedly inspired by a previous deal Airbnb made with Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Since moving in last weekend, the reality star has shared several posts about her new accommodations with her millions of followers. But, is the publicity on Kardashian's social media really worth an extended stay in a rental that usually goes for $10,000 a night?

According to Fast Company, based on averages determined by the social management platform Captiv8, the amount of "influencer" worth generated by Kardashian so far is $397,000. The breakdown of the numbers is $150,000 for an Instagram photo, $60,000 for a tweet, and $187,500 for a Facebook post. Of course, that doesn't appear to count her numerous Snapchat videos, which means she could have already earned the value of her stay through "influencer" dollars.

Kardashian has been very open about the fact she is staying in NYC free of charge and seems to be getting away with thanking Airbnb for "the gift" of her home away from home, in lieu of the common #ad in her captions.
