Raf Simons has, again, deigned to collaborate with Fred Perry and bring his designs to the masses. Simons, new LinkedIn bio and all, took some time out of his schedule to bring us a new fall/winter 2016 collection of polos, sweaters, and jackets.

The collection puts a premium on color blocking and quick spurts of graphics on sharply cut collars. Simons penchant for minimalism is on full display and the designer started the collection by reimagining the brand's iconic T-shirt, according to Fred Perry's press release. The collection includes knit polos, Italian-made v-neck sweaters, and a bomber jacket with a color-blocked hem.

Simons also spoke on how he got acquainted with Fred Perry and how it fits in with his ethos as a champion for subcultures and youth cultures. "When UK style and music had a strong influence in Belgium I became aware of the label through all the subcultures that adopted the Fred Perry shirt," Simons said via the press release. "I only realized the tennis connection at a later age." Throughout its history, Fred Perry has been connected with rockers and soccer hooligans who called themselves The Perry Boys.
