Earlier this year, Converse launched their Essentials apparel collection at Converse stores and select retailers south of the border. Today the line of lived-in basics for both men and women finally hits Canada.
The Converse Essentials collection features minimalist mainstays that are perfect for layering and have been designed to “get better with time." Meaning? The fabric used in each piece in the collection is meant to fade naturally and become softer with every single wear... so that full-zip Converse Essentials hoodie will feel like the one that’s been in your closet forever. Added bonus. The brand’s emphasis on comfort hasn’t compromised the modern fit.
Featuring a tee, long-sleeve shirt, zip hoodie, pullup hoodie, crewneck sweatshirt, and slim-fitting jogger pants, the capsule collection is marked by classic design — aka looks you won’t want to throw out in a few seasons. There’s nothing flashy or fashion-forward about the collection, just laid-back I-woke-up-like-this silhouettes that are Instagram worthy in their own right. Kinda like your favourite scuffed up Chucks.
The Essentials line comes in a range of street-ready colours such as: light grey, egret white, obsidian, red block, and black.
The fall 2016 Converse Essentials collection retails between $40 - $100 CAD and is available at select retails across Canada including: Global Atomic Designs and Unity Clothing in Vancouver, Good Neighbor and Blue Tile Lounge in Toronto, as well as NEON stores in Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto.
