Since the launch of his eponymous brand in 2012, John Elliott has become one of the most revered and successful menswear designers in America—thanks in large part to his unique take on cozy essentials. And although Elliott has since expanded his offerings to include items like leather outerwear and denim, he hasn’t stepped down as the king of sweats.

For Winter 2016, the brand has reunited with Loopwheel for three-piece capsule of comfortable basics. First on the list is a raglan zip-up hoodie with a kangaroo pocket and Riri zippers. Then there’s the oversized pullover sweatshirt, featuring ribbed side panels and stand collar. And finally, there’s a pair of semi-fitted sweatpants with a ribbed cuff at the ankle, three pockets, and a drawstring closure. All items, available in black and gray colors, are made from Loopwheel French Terry from Wakayama, Japan.

Elliott’s first partnership with Loopwheel occurred back in 2014, after he was visiting Wakayama in search of rare fabrics. During his visit, he was introduced to Japanese fleece that was crafted on mid-century loopwheel machines. The process was slow by today’s standards, but it’s said to produce some of the highest quality French Terry in the world.

You can check out the collection in images below. The John Elliott x Loopwheel capsule is available Tuesday at the brand’s online store.
