Uniqlo is preparing to open its third Canadian location in British Columbia this fall. The highly-anticipated store will be located at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, British Columbia, the largest mall in the province and third largest mall in Canada.
B.C.'s first Uniqlo store follows the opening of two stores in Toronto late last year. In September of 2016, Uniqlo opened their impressive flagship at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. The Japanese fashion giant subsequently opened their location inside Yorkdale Shopping Centre the following month.
"The launch of Uniqlo in British Columbia represents another major milestone for us, as Canada continues to be an important focus for the company globally," Yasuhiro Hayashi, COO of Uniqlo Canada, said in a release on Tuesday. "This country’s cultural and climatic diversity represents the perfect platform for Uniqlo and our philosophy of LifeWear."
Vancouver's Uniqlo store is set to offer the brand’s full range of stylish, high-quality core items for men, women, and children.
"We are extremely excited to share Uniqlo with the people of Vancouver and surrounding areas and introduce them to how our high quality, comfortable and functional clothing can help improve their everyday lives. With the opportunity for outdoor adventures to world-class amenities, we hope that Vancouverites will embrace Uniqlo's versatile and stylish everyday clothes that cater to their active lifestyle."
