Canadian Prime Minister was in Montreal on Thursday afternoon to meet with Irish Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Enda Kenny. But, not even a high profile meeting with a foreign dignitary could prevent Trudeau from another important matter of the day - honouring Star Wars.
The self-professed Star Wars fan wore mismatched Star Wars socks (C3PO and R2D2 socks from Stance Socks to be precise) to show a little “May the Fourth be with you” love while meeting with his Irish counterpart and discuss Irish Canadian relations.
Of course, Trudeau hit Twitter after the meeting confirming the sartorial choice was intended.
Twitter was all over Trudeau's tribute... But, we're left wondering how Kenny feels being upstaged by socks?
